This 26 year old patient was referred to Dr. Parker by her friend. She asked him to reduce her dorsal hump, straighten her crooked nose and improve the obstructed breathing on her left side. Dr Parker performed an open rhinoplasty during which he reduced the bony cartilaginous hump with a “component reduction” of both bone and cartilage, lateral osteotomies to close the “open roof”, tiplasty to refine her nasal tip cartilage, septal reconstruction to help straighten the crooked nose and open the obstructed left airway. The patient was pleased with her quick recovery, the natural appearance of her nose and markedly improved breathing.
