What procedure would you recommend to even out asymmetrical lips? The right side of my bottom lip had to be sewn back on after a dog attacked me when I was a child. As a result, there is a good amount of scar tissue that makes one side of my mouth appear both thicker and lower than the other. I have…

Hi and thank you for your message. Obtaining lip symmetry after a traumatic injury is challenging. Fortunately we now have a lot of different treatment options to improve symmetry - from Botox and fillers to scar revisions. An inperson consultation is best to give the best recommendations. Hi Vanessa - lumps that don't go away after fillers can be challenging to treat. Sometimes the lump has to be surgically excised but there are other less invasive options that can be used. In person consultation is best to prescribe an adequate treatment; you should probably seek a second opinion at this point. Make sure to go to a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist that perform fillers regularly and have dealt with these issues before. Good luck Dr Sarraga

I have always disliked the size and bulbus overhanging end of my nose. My nasal bone is large as well but if I only focused on the end of my nose would I get good results? I can provide a photo.

Rhinoplasty is a very delicate operation; the nose can be reshaped but there are many aspects that go into the operative plan which is different for each patient. Seek a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon that regularly performs rhinoplasty; look at their photo book and communicate your desired look. Remember there are always limitations to what can be done.

My top mouth area is kind of puffed out like a monkey and I hate it. What kind of surgery would I need to fix that or push it back??

What you are describing can be typical in advanced age but can also be seen in younger patients. Most likely you need a lip repositioning procedure to correct the proportions. In person consultation is necessary for planning.
