Will having colostrum in my breast make me unable to have a breast augmentation?
I am 26 and I have 3 children, 9, 3 and 18 months I've stopped breast feeding 3 months ago and I'm wanting to have a breast augmentation in 3 months time. I have heard you can't go ahead with the surgery if you have breast milk still in your breasts. I don't have milk but there is some of what looks like colostrum come out if I squeeze my nipples. Is there anything I can take to empty them or is there anything else I can do?
Milk production will cease naturally. As others have said you should stop squeezing the breast as this may harm the breast and encouraged continued discharge.
Consider stopping squeezing your breasts / nipples as this action stimulates milk production. Your body will normally naturally stop milk production once the stimulation has stopped.
