I work in an office. I sit most of the day. If I got a full tummy tuck, when can I go back to work? I would have someone that could drive me to and from the office. If I took a week off would that be enough time?

Congrats on your surgery. Most patients do not feel comfortable for 10 to 14 days following a TT. If you do not have the muscles repaired you may be able to return to work sooner. Your best bet is to follow the instructions of your surgeon.

However I do feel that I am still swollen, above my belly button and below my belly button not as much as at the beginning but it’s still swollen. I have no pain at all just the same tightness feeling. I’ve read that it depends on…

It is not unusual for swelling to persist for 3-6 months following an Abdominoplasty. If you are concerned I would recommend a follow up visit with your surgeon. A good physical examination will assist in determining a cause.

Your concerns can be improved. A nipple areolar reduction will help to correct the puffiness and large size you describe. If you have tubular breast this can be addressed at the same time. I recommend you consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area.

Why was my stomach flatter? My stomach was extremely flat 2 weeks after tummy tuck surgery now I am 5 weeks out and after having drains removed and then put back in and removed again my stomach isn’t as flat. It’s much puffier in the area around my belly button and I have areas of what look like…

Sorry to hear about your concerns post TT. Generally it may take 3-6 months to see the final result. Localized areas pf swelling are not uncommon after 5 weeks. Since I am unable to perform an examination, it is difficult to determine what is going on. I would address your concerns with your surgeon.
