About S. Tyler Elkins-Williams, MD
Introduction
Dr. Elkins-Williams (Dr. Tyler to his patients!) is a double board-certified plastic surgeon with a focus on Aesthetic Breast and Body Surgery. He loves being able to offer patients a wide variety of treatments to fit their needs, from minimally invasive procedures and injections, to surgical options. He believes in helping patients practice self-care by feeling good and confident about themselves. He is known for his excellent bedside manner, communication skills, and his natural results. A native of the Triangle, Dr. Elkins-Williams enjoys exercise, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and 3 children.
Professional Background
Dr. Elkins-Williams completed a 5-year Residency in General Surgery before deciding to focus on Plastic Surgery. He spent an additional 5 years at UNC Hospitals, first in the Jaycee Burn Center, and then completing his comprehensive Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. After a full 10 years of surgical training, Dr. Elkins-Williams left the hospital for Private Practice, joining Dr. Charlie Finn at Finn Plastic Surgery and learning to become an expert in injections and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures. He is a proud member of The Aesthetic Society, The American Society for Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the North Carolina Society of Plastic Surgeons (NCSPS).
