Dr. Fix is a board-certified plastic surgeon and professor in the UAB Division of Plastic Surgery, specializing in breast reconstruction and hand surgery. Dr. Fix has made over 17 medical mission trips to Ecuador as part of a combined group from UAB and the University of Kentucky. The group treats congenital anomalies and pediatric problems in an indigent population.
