About Kenneth Sumida, MD
Introduction
At Nuance Cosmetic Surgery Medical Center, we offer complete services in plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. Our surgery center is AAAASF certified. Also, we provide a full-service skin fitness program. The entire staff is committed to providing optimal care for our patients in our state-of-the-art facilities. We are confident that you will have a comfortable and pleasant experience. We are located in Folsom, California, a beautiful suburb of Sacramento. Our office is across the street from our home base hospital (Mercy Folsom Hospital).
Education & Training
Dr. Sumida is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is currently part of Nuance Cosmetic Surgery. He is a California native who obtained his undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis. He received his medical education at Tufts University Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, and currently practices in Folsom, CA (near Sacramento).
Upon completing his General Surgery residency at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, he further specialized in Plastic Surgery at the University of California at Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. Currently, Dr. Sumida is on the medical staff at Mercy Folsom.
Dr. Sumida has been elected into Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha (an honor society for medicine). He is also an active member of the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society and the American Medical Association. He is a former board member of the Sacramento Ballet. He is committed to providing the highest quality, top-rated service to his patients through his advanced training, dedication to perfection, and emphasis on patient education.
