Dr. J. Stewart Humphrey is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. The American Board of Plastic Surgery is the gold standard for plastic surgery certification in the United States. Dr. Humphrey is also a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Only about one-quarter of all American Board of Plastic Surgery certified surgeons have been accepted into The Aesthetic Society membership. Dr. Humphrey offers the latest aesthetic and cosmetic procedures, such as breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, tummy tuck, liposuction, hand surgery, and more. Dr. J. Stewart Humphrey completed his plastic surgery training at the world-renowned Duke University Medical Center and completed additional training in microsurgical technique at the prestigious Kleinert Kutz Institute. The Kleinert Kutz Institute is recognized as the home of the world’s first successful hand transplant. Additionally, Dr. Humphrey has studied under nationally and internationally recognized leaders in plastic surgery.
Dr. Humphrey also practiced in Florida and California prior to partnering with Dr. Deisher at Heartland Plastic & Hand Surgery.
