Introduction
Hong-Ki Lee, MD, PhD is a board-certified plastic surgeon based in Seoul, Korea. He received his medical degree and Ph.D. from Seoul National University and completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Seoul National University Hospital. He subsequently served as a clinical professor at Asan Medical Center.
Dr. Lee is the Founder and Director of Image Plastic Surgery Clinic, an aesthetic surgery center established in 2001 in Seoul. He has served as an Allergan advisory board member for more than 15 years, focusing on fillers, botulinum toxin, and breast augmentation, and currently serves as an advisory board member for Motiva Breast Implants (Establishment Labs).
His clinical expertise includes breast surgery, endoscopic forehead and brow lift surgery, facelift procedures, and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation. Dr. Lee has authored numerous textbooks and peer-reviewed publications and regularly delivers lectures and live surgery demonstrations at international meetings.
He currently serves as President of the Korean Academic Association of Rejuvenation, Editorial Board Member of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and National Secretary (Korea) of ISAPS, and has trained many surgeons internationally in aesthetic surgical techniques.
