About Emily J. Kirby, MD
Introduction
Dr. Emily Kirby is a board certified plastic surgeon. She recently served as the first female Chief of Plastic Surgery at Texas Health Resources Harris Methodist hospital, the largest hospital in Fort Worth. She earned her board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, one of the 24 medical specialty boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. After graduating as a valedictorian from high school, Dr. Kirby obtained her bachelor’s degree with honors from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Kirby was accepted early to Texas A&M University College of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree (MD). While attending Texas A&M, Dr. Kirby received several awards for research, scholarship, and peer appreciation.
Professional Background
Dr. Kirby opened Kirby Plastic Surgery at the completion of her fellowship in 2011. She has adored her work at Cook Children's Medical Center over several years as a pediatric craniofacial surgeon and continues to care for many pediatric patients today. Kalos Medical Spa opened in 2018, expanding non-surgical options for Dr. Kirby's patients. Dr. Kirby opened City Surgery Center in 2019, a AAAASF-accredited in-office, private surgical center.

Kirby Plastic Surgery collects a $100 consultation credit for aesthetic surgical consultations and $50 for new non-surgical appointments. Payment is due at the time the appointment is made. Any unused consultation credit for fulfilled appointments can be used toward products or services within 6 months of the appointment date. We respectfully request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Changes to your appointment less than 24 hours in advance or missing your appointment will result in the retention of your consultation payment as a non-refundable administrative fee.
