Dr. Brown completed his medical school curriculum at The Medical College of Pennsylvania & Hahnemann University School of Medicine (Now Drexel College of Medicine) in Philadelphia. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Brown supported himself through college by working as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), responding to medical emergencies by ambulance. Dr. Brown was recognized as a Merit Scholar and graduated summa cum laude, in the top 5% of his class, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Neuroscience. Dr. Brown continues his education by staying abreast of the latest innovations and technological advancements in plastic surgery.

The Medical Board of California has designated the AAAASF and AAAHC as authorized agencies that meet rigorous state accreditation requirements.
Licensed anesthesiology personnel are always present to care for your safety both during your surgery and your time comfortably waking up in the recovery room.

How Dr. Brown goes beyond
Dr. Brown has performed surgeries with the nonprofit organization InterFACE (www.InterfaceKids.org). InterFACE funds and performs primarily cleft lip and palate repairs for children in Mexico. In the San Diego area, Dr. Brown continues to give back to the community by performing emergency surgeries for trauma victims, reconstructing their bodies and their lives.
