About Christopher C. Chang, MD
Introduction
Dr. Chang is considered to be one of the top plastic surgeons in DC. He specializes in facial and breast augmentation surgery and has acquired several advanced degrees and training from some of the most selective universities in the country.
Education & Training
After receiving his bachelor's degree from Harvard University, Dr. Chang attended the NYU School of Medicine. While in New York, he worked at the Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery under the direction of Dr. Joseph G. McCarthy, a world-renowned faculty member. During his time there, he received many accolades and was selected for the 6-year integrated general and plastic surgery residency at Yale University.
While at Yale-New Haven Hospital, he was influenced by his extensive craniofacial and cosmetic experience under the guidance of his chairman, Dr. John A. Persing. He then completed a fellowship in advanced craniofacial surgery for adults and children at the Johns Hopkins Hospital/University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
