Dr. Correa grew up in Southern California, where he pursued his undergraduate education in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara at the University of California, studying piano and Psychology. After much hard work, he was accepted into one of the country's top medical schools—the prestigious UCLA School of Medicine. He developed an interest in surgery early on, and after exploring the many wonderful surgical fields, his passion thankfully found its way into the best one: plastic surgery.

After going through the rigorous process of matching into one of the most competitive surgical specialties, he had the added good fortune of matching into one of the most prestigious and sought-after plastic surgery programs in the country: Baylor College of Medicine.

He developed a passion for plastic surgery of the face and breast, as well as extensive training in plastic surgery of the body. Due to the high volume of cases at the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world, he was able not only to exceed the training numbers required but also to tailor his education to receive extra training in his specific areas of interest.
