Education & Training
Dr. Islur received his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in biology at The University of Western Ontario in 1998. He obtained his medical degree (MD) from the University of Toronto in 2002. He then completed his residency in Cosmetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at The University of Manitoba in 2007. Additional fellowship specialty training was completed at the prestigious Buncke Clinic in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Islur is a published author of numerous articles in aesthetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, and microsurgery literature. He has presented research at national and international reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery conferences. Dr. Islur travels regularly, teaching his surgical techniques to other leaders in the aesthetic industry.
