About Antonio Costa-Ferreira, MD, PhD
Introduction
Prof. António Costa Ferreira is a physician and a specialist in Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics with the degree of Consultant and Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto.
He has more than 20 years of clinical experience and more than 15,000 surgical interventions performed within the scope of his specialty. He introduced several innovative surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation in Portugal, including endoscopic front lift, MIMS (minimally invasive midface suspension), and endoscopic biplanar front lift. In June 2017, he carried out for the first time in Portugal, the surgical treatment of migraine successfully, a fact widely disseminated by the media.
