About Anita R. Kulkarni, MD
Introduction
Dr. Kulkarni is an award-winning, board-certified female plastic surgeon in Washington, DC, with a special interest in post-pregnancy body contouring. Consistently ranked among Washington DC’s best plastic surgeons, she brings an artistic eye and technical expertise to every case. She founded DC Plastic Surgery Boutique to bring to life her vision of creating an aesthetic practice for women, by women. She believes that both surgical and nonsurgical treatments should enhance your beauty naturally, and she is dedicated to educating her patients on all the latest aesthetic advancements.
Education & Training
Dr. Anita Kulkarni is a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed her plastic surgery training at the University of Michigan in the highly competitive integrated plastic surgery residency, one of the oldest and most respected training programs in the country. After residency, she worked on state-of-the-art breast reconstruction at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

QUAD A facilitates patient safety by regularly updating its standards based on patient data and the latest medical literature, and requiring facilities to continually self-assess and evolve
