Dr. Aly grew up in Southern California and completed a bachelor’s degree in psycho-biology at UCLA. Subsequently, he received his medical degree from the Georgetown School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and then spent two years in general surgery training at UCLA, followed by another two years of research at the same institution. Dr. Aly then undertook a one-year research fellowship and subsequently completed an ENT residency at Vanderbilt University. He then returned to the Southern California area, where he completed a fellowship in facial plastic surgery, with a focus on rhinoplasty, or nasal reshaping surgery, at the University of California, Irvine. Because he originally trained in ENT and received specialized training in rhinoplasty, he has a particular interest and expertise in rhinoplasty.
