Puffy areola

Hi, I am a 17 year old female, soon to be 18. I’ve been considered with the appearance of my nipples. Ever since I went onto 17 my areoles have risen up to my nipples so it looks like puffed up and one big nipple. I have gained some weight since this has happened and I’m not sure if that’s the cause and I need to loose the weight to get it back to ‘normal’ because it hasn’t looked like this before. But also when I’m cold or my nipple is under cold compress, it looks perfectly fine, so I’m not sure what to do. Thank you

Hard to tell exactly whats happening without pictures or seeing it in person, however you may have retracted nipples or tuberous breast deformity that could contribute to this appearance. both have fixes, so you are not SOL.
