Description

The Advanced Aesthetics (AA) Fellowship offers an exceptional opportunity to train with one of the Atlanta area’s most established and respected aesthetic practices. Led by three experienced board-certified plastic surgeons and supported by a highly skilled clinical team, AA provides a collaborative, high-volume environment where fellows can develop surgical mastery alongside advanced non-surgical expertise.

This fellowship delivers a comprehensive, hands-on education in aesthetic surgery. Fellows gain operative experience in the practice’s AAAASF-accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center, refining skills in breast, body, and facial procedures while managing their own dedicated clinic and surgery block. Rotations across AA’s multiple locations provides exposure to consultations, treatment planning, and post-operative care, as well as advanced injectables, lasers, and energy-based technologies. Each fellow also completes a research project during the year, fostering academic engagement and evidence-based practice.

Training at AA is immersive and supportive. Fellows work closely with every surgeon, learning varied techniques and approaches while building the confidence to operate independently. In addition to clinical training, fellows receive valuable exposure to the business and administrative aspects of running a successful practice - gaining insight into operations, finance, marketing, and patient experience. Academic engagement is encouraged through journal clubs, case reviews, and professional society meetings to further strengthen both technical skills and clinical judgment.

Located just outside Atlanta, the fellowship combines exceptional training with a dynamic lifestyle. The region offers top-rated schools, convenient access to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and proximity to Peachtree City - home to the studios where many Marvel films are produced. A diverse patient population, vibrant cultural scene, and year-round recreation make it an ideal setting for both professional development and personal enjoyment. The Advanced Aesthetics Fellowship equips graduates with refined surgical skills, professional confidence, and a well-rounded perspective on aesthetic medicine, preparing them to excel in private practice or academic surgery.
