Description

Basu Aesthetics + Plastic Surgery is offering a 12-month multi-specialty aesthetic plastic surgery fellowship with two experienced board-certified plastic surgeons and a board-certified ENT facial plastic surgeon.   Our 100% aesthetic practice has been consistently ranked in the top 1% of national aesthetic practice performance benchmarks. Our collegial faculty perform over 2600+ aesthetic procedures per year.  You will have an opportunity to work in two 11,000 sq ft free-standing state-of-the-art aesthetic centers that include our state-licensed ASC and AAAASF surgical facilities.  All locations have busy practice integrated full-service medspas.  This fellowship offers the entire spectrum of aesthetic plastic surgery and cosmetic medicine in private practice settings.   Surgical exposure will include facial aesthetics and rejuvenation, primary and revisional rhinoplasty, primary and complex revisional aesthetic breast surgery, and comprehensive body contouring.  Graduated responsibilities will be given to the fellow.  A “fellow clinic” will be supported for independent operating and patient management responsibilities. Practice management training and mentoring is also an important part of this fellowship.  Our fellow will have the opportunity to learn how to effectively build, manage, and market a successful private practice and medspa in a highly competitive space. One clinical or practice management research project will be required and presentation at national meeting will be encouraged.  This fellowship is available for board certified or board eligible plastic surgeons who have completed an ACGME plastic surgery residency.  Applicants must have or obtain prior to commencement a Texas medical license.  A competitive salary, medical malpractice insurance, and health insurance benefit is provided.
