Description

Tri Valley Plastic Surgery is proud to offer this post graduate aesthetic fellowship approved by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and located in sunny Northern California.

The one year fellowship is led by Dr. Steven Williams, the current president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. It is designed as a comprehensive aesthetic training program including all aspects of body contouring, abdominoplasty, liposuction and fat transfer, post-bariatric body contouring, breast surgery including augmentations, fat transfer, reductions and mastopexies as well as in-depth facial plastic surgery including facelifts, rhinoplasties and blepharoplasties.  There are some opportunities for reconstructive plastic surgery experience as well.

Our program also includes in-depth exposure to ethical aesthetic marketing, and patient retention systems with dedicated staff highly trained and experienced in their respective disciplines. There are active research opportunities in the aesthetic field, including research into artificial intelligence in plastic surgery.

Our campus consists of a standalone med spa, where a variety of lasers and injectable services are performed, a clinic building, and a standalone two room QuadA certified ambulatory surgery center.

To qualify for our aesthetic fellowship a candidate must be a board eligible graduate of an AC, GME accredited plastic surgery residency prior to the July 1 start date of any given year or hold an ECFMG certification to qualify for clinical training. Prospective candidates who have complete applications are interviewed the year prior, and the selection is made shortly there after.  International applicants are also welcome with outstanding qualifications. Eligible applicants must have completed the following requirements: USMLE or ECFMG certifications.

At the completion of this fellowship, it is expected that each graduate will have a sophisticated, nuanced appreciation for problems
