During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Aesthetic Foundation is highlighting the various ways that our members and donors are making an impact on patients and the specialty.
The Breast Cancer Journey Assistance Fund was opened for applications on October 1. We see the incredible need as funds are exhausted each October, and we hear directly from patients about how meaningful even a small grant can be during an incredibly difficult time. If you know a patient who may benefit, please visit The Foundation website to apply on their behalf. And if you are able, I hope you will consider making a donation so that together we can provide support to even more patients on their breast cancer journey.

The Career Achievement Award Goes To...
Renato Saltz, MD
Speaking of Foundation members and donors who have made an incredible impact, during The Aesthetic MEET 2027 in Miami Beach, we will honor Dr. Renato Saltz with the prestigious Career Achievement Award.
Renato's contributions to our specialty are well known, and his personal philanthropic work has and continues to impact the lives of breast cancer patients. Through contributions made from his annual American-Brazilian Aesthetic Meeting to the Image Reborn Foundation and now The Aesthetic Foundation, he continues to demonstrate his dedication to servant leadership.
If Renato has inspired you as he has so many of us, I hope you will consider donating in his honor.
Your gift will directly support our breast cancer programs and breast surgery research.

Aesthetic Impact Week 2026
Save the date for November 30-December 4 for The Foundation's inaugural Aesthetic Impact Week.
No need to travel anywhere, this will be an online celebration of the impact The Foundation is making through research, education, and patient support, and an opportunity to be part of what’s next. Throughout the week, we will share stories, outcomes, and examples of how your dues and donations are put to work.
We want you to see the impact you are making and feel confident that your investment in The Foundation is changing lives.
None of this would be possible without you, and we look forward to celebrating that impact together.
