Nail Plate Transplantation
Asked 2018-02-21
After a trauma, the nail on the index finger does not grow at all (almost a year already). What are the options for restoring the nail? From the information found on the Internet I have found only - a transplant of a nail plate. Where is it possible to do this?

Procedure(s)
A nail plate graft taken from a toe is possible by an experienced hand surgeon. Those with a background in plastic surgery are somewhat more likely to have a successful result because of their frequent experience in grafting. Check at Handsurgery.org/locator.
